Java Jimmy’s is featuring four bands

Surabaya-The Java Jimmy’s Irish Pub of the Westin Surabaya feature at least four famous Bands from Bandung and Jakarta : The Gypsy Can Band, the Ocean Park Band, the Brown Sugar Band, and the Funky Thumb Band.
The attractive performance of those four group bands can be seen from May 27-June 30, at the music venues of the Java Jimmy’s Irish Pub.
The four bands perform various kinds of music, such as funky, R&B, and alternative music. They also will present freshness and new nuance for Surabaya people.

The Badui Community
The Badui Community is a unique society. The people live in Banten. It can be reached via a 10 km village road from Cibungur village in Leuwidamar district. It is a steep road.
In April and May, the Baduy Community is closed to outsiders. During this time it holda a ceremony called Seba. It is the offering of part of their agricultural products to the Head of the District, Sub Regent and the chief Resident.
In Seba ceremony the “puun of Baduy” sends out a group of representatives of Baduy Dalam as well as Baduy Luar to act the community’s spokesmen. When conducting this, the Baduy Dalam members refuse to ride any vehicle. They traveled anywhere on foot. They do this to prove their strength.
To enter this very a special Baduy area, one should obtain a written permission from the Rangkasbitung District office. He has to state the purpose of the visit. It may take one whole weeks to process.

Over population may cause many problems. They can be economical or social one. We all know that people need food to live. A great number of people need a lot of food to eat. To get enough food for a lot of people, we need larger areas to cultivate.
People need houses to live in an increase of population means an increase of houses that people need. More houses needed more land to build them on. And the land we have is limited.
People have to work in order to get money to buy food, clothes and house. A great number of people need a great number of jobs. And if we can’t create jobs there will be many people who are jobless. What will happen then ?
